A PDF preset is a defined collection of settings that you can download and use for creating consistently high quality PDF files. Just click on the file below to download the settings for Adobe InDesign. Follow these simple steps: 1) Download to a place no your computer you can find again, and where the file will be safe to store long-term (such as “My Documents”). 2) On InDesign’s file menu, choose File/ Adobe PDF presets/ Define, then click “Load.” Navigate to the location where you saved the file, select it, and choose “Open,” then click “Done.” 3) Now when you export the PDF, in the second dialog box's Presets drop-down menu, select the preset you just loaded.
